I like the realism gives EA Sports Activision and detailed draft COD 4. A game of paintball would be awesome. I know that video games are not exactly popular paintball, but I think if they actually come w / good, people will buy it, I know I will. NPPL Championship Paintball seems fun, but would do a 4. 9 on IGN. Who among you agree?

Haven’t ever played paintball but,
I’m a big fan of FPS games and all I have to say is, I’m sure it would appeal to some people but would not have the recognition and popularity to be successful, therefore a big game company would probably be reluctant to adopt the idea. Say for example, if it were to be realistic in the woods/paintball course/arena/whatever it would simply be an fps game without blood and gore… So really it would likely end up being a fps with no blood/gore no grenades/extras so really, I’m sure they could make a decent paintball game, but their efforts are much better spent in making an fps war game as it will sell more. That’s all companies really care about…money =).
I think if virtual reality ever evolves into video games It would be great fun!
Really I think sports games are often of lower standards as it can’t really be better than going outside and playing them =)
Maybe one day you could make your own paintball game

Dont see why they would come out with a paintball game when they could just as easily come out with a shooter, which would appeal to a greater audience and would allow them to invest more in dynamic gameplay/story/backdrops. There are some existing fps out there which have “paintball mods” though if you are interested.
