This is Part 11 of my Sonic The Hedgehog NES Playthrough from my old Sonicjackaroo account. Sonic the Hedgehog is a Pirated game for NES. It takes the Entire Sonic 1 game on Megadrive/Genesis, Turns it into 8-bit and puts it on NES. That sounds pretty good right? Right? Well no. Whilst it sounds good the game is terrible. Tons of glitches, terrible controls, ear bleeding-ly awful music and terrible physics. Thats what horrors lie in store for anyone who plays this game. Also when this playthrough was posted previously there was some confusion about this game so lets clear a few things up. First off this was not made by Sega. Sega had absolutely no involvement with this game. Its practically a fan made game. The game was sold in cartridge format but was not licensed by nintendo. This is what is known as a pirated game. A homebrew project, put on a cartridge and sold without any licensing by nintendo. Sonic did not appear on any Nintendo consoles until Sonic Advance on the Gameboy Advance and his first game was Sonic 1 on Megadrive/Genesis. There. That should clear things up. Its time for a brand new part that ive just made. After recording the playthrough I found one of the missing Roms mentioned in Part 10. Normally I wouldnt bother making a video about it but this time its different. The rom is a completly different game. Its a total edit of Somari with New Graphics, Music and….well actually the gameplay is the same old crap. But still the Music doesnt make your ears …

ROFL at the ending. That’s sure gonna be one painful playthrough. Anyway Doraemon looks like crap, but I gotta say, it still seems better than Sonic NES. The graphics are (slightly) nicer IMO, and the music isn’t quite as atrocious. lol.
